Hearing a few of you talk about this game on Vent I decided to download it last night... Let's just say I am Gothborn, Sniper Supreme Seriously, though, I can see why you like the game so much - it is so moreish.
You downloaded it giving you an official copy or the 'trial' solo player only? Without an official key you can jus tplay it solo: I maybe played 2 maps on that part, which wasnt that interesting. The online multiplayer is just uber imo, been playing it all weekend till my brain started to hurt. Best shooter since Enemy Territory. My nick is Dr_Smegg btw.
I downloaded it via steam, having purchased the game so have access to the multiplayer option. Haven't played that as yet as I am a bit confused by all the servers available. I am obviously Gothborn Any hints, tips and info on how multiplayer works would be much appreciated. Cheers.
HELP! Tried playing multyplayer but keep getting kicked by punkbuster - Disallowed program/driver 125083 - any one got any ideas?
Ok, figured it. Punkbuster hates steam. You need to load the program and then go to task manager and kill Steam. Go figure.
Ehm I'm using the steam version as well, never had a problem with this. Not sure if its due to the setup though, I've got that new Steam Beta client with Windows7 64bits, oh and I manually updated Punkbuster since this is adviced by EA, it might reduce the amount of server disconnects.

I have also been "playing" this game... By playing i mean "whoring" Feel free to add "MysticDuck" suprisingly enough Although I do prefer playing hardcore servers over the normal servers so more than 90% if you joining me in a game it'll be hardcore xD (for those that don't know hardcore = No radar, No crosshair, Less hit's to die - one hit kill snipers ) YAY
